Texas singer/songwriter Bob Campbell has performed throughout the west for years singing his own songs and the old cowboy and folk ballads of Texas and the west.

“I grew up around cattle and horses on old family land in the deep, rolling hills of northeast Texas,” Bob says. “Early on, I learned how to work and developed a love of the land and an appreciation of tradition and history that is with me yet. I love nothing better than to be on horseback in good country.”

Campbell has been a featured performer and appeared at many national cowboy poetry gatherings, including the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, NV., the Texas Cowboy Gathering at Alpine, the Arizona Poetry Gathering at Prescott, the Durango Poetry Gathering in Colorado, the National Cowboy Symposium in Lubbock, TX., and the Colorado Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Arvada. In 1996, he was featured along with Red Steagall in a video, Roll On, Cowboy, which aired on national television.

Red Steagall, Buck Ramsey, Chris LeDoux, Jill Jones, Jean Prescott, Skelly Boyd and Ginger Evans, The Desert Sons, and The Dale Burson Ranch Band, along with many other western artists, have recorded and performed Campbell's songs. “Roundup Time” was named Song Of The Year in 1997 by the Academy of Western Artists.

A former Artist-In-Residence with the Texas Commision-On-The-Arts, Campbell recorded one CD, The Golden West, and a live children's album, Bob Campbell and Kids, Too!
